Presentation on my forthcoming book DJs do Guetto

Here’s a video of me and three other contributors to the 33 1/3 book series talking about our recent or forthcoming books for the ‘Popular Music Books in Process‘ series. First up is Ginger Dellenbaugh speaking about her book on Maria Callas’s album Lyric and Coloratura Arias (1954). Then I talk about my book on the 2006 compilation DJs do Guetto (the book is due out in February 2022). Daniel B. Sharp talks about his recent contribution to the 33 1/3 Brazil series on Naná Vasconcelos’s Saudades (1979). Finally, Derrais Carter speaks about his book in progress on Marvin Gaye’s I Want You (1976), before we ask each other some questions and then open up to a wider Q&A.
